Cole Cragin Claims National High School Record in 100 Back

AUSTIN, Texas, February 28. ONE of the longest standing national high school records in the books fell during the Texas State 4A Championships in Austin, Texas. Friendswood senior Cole Cragin blazed through the 100-yard back to the tune of a 46.75 clocking.

The effort demolished the public school record of 47.50 set by Derya Buyukuncu of Woodbridge High in California back in 1994.

The performance also cracked the overall record and independent school standard of 46.82 set by Alex Lim for The Bolles School back in 1999.
