Bentley vs. St. Michael’s Women

COLCHESTER, Vermont, January 11. ANNE Kaduboski (Dedham, Mass./Dedham HS) and senior Kristen Thuerk (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire HS) each won two individual events and participated on a winning relay, helping the Bentley University women's swim team to a 133-108 victory over St. Michael's College Saturday afternoon at the Ross Sports Center.

Kaduboski extended her string of individual wins in dual competition to 30 by capturing both the 400 yard individual medley (4:51.77) and the 200 backstroke (2:14.28). She also teamed with junior Erin Koskosky (Washington Depot, Conn./Shepaug Valley HS) and seniors Breda O'Connor (Dedham/Ursuline Academy) and Kaitlin Chepeleff (Vernon, Conn./Rockville HS) for a winning time of 2:00.48 in the meet's opening event, the 200 medley relay.

Thuerk's victories came in the 1000 freestyle (11:32.42) and the 500 free (5:38.18). She helped Bentley close out the meet on a winning note, helping Bentley to a winning time of 4:01.62 in the 400 free relay. That quartet also included senior Lynne Tutunjian (Shrewsbury/Worcester Academy), junior Carolyn Connolly (Palm Desert, Calif./Palm Desert HS) and sophomore Sarah Temple (Topsham, Maine/Cheverus HS).

Bentley's list of individual winners also included Tutunjian touching first in the 200 butterfly (2:26.09), Temple capturing the 100 free (59.77) and Chepeleff taking the 200 breaststroke (2:41.22).
