December 5, 2008 I gotta admit that I am shocked that we are seeing so many new American and world records after the Olympics. As a fan, it gets my juices flowing salivating at the thought of what we are going to see this summer at worlds. There are so many new faces to focus on now, Beijing is going to become a memory - a SPECTACULAR memory, but a memory nonetheless. Bring it on, baby! :o)

December 9, 2008 I did not see the results from the first day of competition at the Texas Invitational on this web page. Arizona senior, Lara Jackson set a new NCAA and American record in the 50 yd free with a time of 21.37 in prelims and 21.33 in finals. Jackson broke the American record of 21.46 set by Natalie Coughlin in the 2007 USA Short Course National Championships. The former NCAA record of 21.63 was set by Georgia's Kara Lynn Joyce at the 2006 NCAA Championships.

December 10, 2008 Yes, Swimming World Magazine does an outstanding job of reporting and I have no complaints. The first day of results was just not reported on your College News page. Correct me if I am wrong.

December 10, 2008 Oh, I understand now. No worries.

We had them under USA News the first day since they were American records. But, I've since moved all of the Texas Invite reporting to the College News page for the sake of consistency.

Thanks for the heads up.
