Johannes Dittrich Sets European Mark in 50 Fly

ESSEN, Germany, November 28. AT the German Short Course Championships, another European record fell by the wayside.

This time, Johannes Dittrich ripped off a time of 22.62 to set a European record in the men's 50 fly. During the preliminary session, Dittrich posted a time of 22.64 to break the previous record of 22.86 set by Sergiy Breus of Ukraine.

During prelims, Marco Koch posted a time of 58.50 to set the German record in the men's 100 breast, while Paul Biedermann turned in a 1:41.42 in the men's 200 free for the title.
