NCAA: Oakland Sweeps Bowling Green

November 11. OAKLAND University dispensed with Bowling Green State University this afternnon, scoring a 138-84 win in the women's meet and a 148-95 victory in the men's.

Oakland won 10 of the 13 events in the women's competition, with Danielle Ward notching three victories for thee winners: 1000 free, 200 free and 100 free. Devon Cunningham won both diving events for Oakland.

Oakland's men matched their women's performance, also winning 10 of 13 events. Four Oakland athletes were double winners: Dave Hartzell in the 1000 and 100 free; Haithan Hassan in the 100 fly and 100 back; Mark Quinn in the 200 free and 100 breast: and Chris Gawronski in the one- and three-meter diving.
