Looking forward with John Carroll's head coach Matt Lenhart:
Although, still rather early in the year, we are looking forward to a pretty spirited meet with Mount Union. Both the men and women lost to MUC last year, but we should be full strength and ready for some good swims. All conference dual meets carry a little extra significance and we look forward to this weekend.

Mount Union's Last Time Out:
Mount Union's men's team fell to Wooster, 150.5-72.5, while the MUC women took a 144-87 loss to Wooster.

Alyson Kolesar tied a school record in the women's meet with a 1:03.22 in the 100 back. She also won the 200 free (2:03.02). Meanwhile, Mike Kuzma won the 500 free (5:08.26) and 1000 free (10:33.05) for the men, while Dan Hampu claimed the 200 IM (2:11.76).

Looking forward with Mount Union's head coach Eric Mojock:
Whenever we swim against John Carroll, it is an intense rivalry and big meet no matter when it falls on the schedule. Obviously, it is a conference dual meet, and we as a program know and value how important each of those are. We also realize it is early in the year. We have a very competitive schedule, and this will give a good idea of where we are as a team, and what we need focus on going through the rest of season.

MOTW, John Carroll at Mount Union
