Gregg Troy Speaks With SwimmingWorld.TV in October Issue of Swimming World

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 6. IN a special SwimmingWorld.TV interview from the American Swimming Coaches Association World Clinic in Las Vegas, coach Gregg Troy breaks down Ryan Lochte's races at the Olympics.

In the interview that appears on page 37 of the October issue of Swimming World Magazine, Troy said he and Lochte "made some mental notes," especially in what he should have done better in his 400 IM final in Beijing, including swimming his own race and controlling the butterfly leg of the race.

Troy calls the 200 back-200 IM double that Lochte did in Beijing "one of the toughest doubles in swimming," because of the physical and time demands at the meet. Troy said Lochte only had time to warm down 200 meters between each race, and talks about how swimmer and coach perceived the outcome.

Coverage of the Olympics over-stuffed this issue of Swimming World Magazine. The quality leftovers, like a day after Thanksgiving meal, are available via a FREE digital download on the home page.
