August 25, 2008 It's good to know, Mario, that I can always count on you being the token SwimWorld xenophobe. Submitted by: Sphere
August 25, 2008 Sphere, a xenophobe I am not. I am generally distrustful of ALL people, regardless of creed, color, race, nationality, or political affiliation. This is a simple fact of life: people can generally be counted on to disappoint. In God I trust, everybody else is suspect.
With regards to FINA, specifically, answer me this: how good were their "testing methods" during the reign of the East German Doping Machine (probably the biggest offenders, but CERTAINLY not alone)? And do you REALLY think they have gone all out to ensure that all athletes or playing by the rules?
I'm more concerned with people doing the right thing, not "Can't we all get along?". Submitted by: mario2007
