Max Jaben Tests Positive, Off Israeli Beijing Roster

NETANYA, Israel, July 19. AFTER having both his first and second samples come up positive for Boldenon, Israeli swimmer Max Jaben was lifted from the Israeli Olympic roster according to a report by Haaretz.

In a text given two weeks ago, Jaben's sample originally came up positive for the banned substance. His second sample also tested positive leaving Jaben off the team.

Jaben was slated to swim in the 100, 200 and 400 freestyles, but Israel will have to hope that Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or can qualify for Beijing in those events.
