Karah Nazor Becomes First Tennessean to Cross English Channel

CALAIS, France, July 15. THIS past weekend, Karah Nazor became the first resident of Tennessee to swim the English Channel, according to a report in the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Nazor completed the swim in 12 hours and 28 minutes and "swam through the choppy, 60-degree water."

There isn't much more to the story as contact with the swimmer has been minimal.

Swimming World extends its congratulations to Nazor for completing the difficult swim.
