Meanwhile, Swimming World contributor Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen snatched three world records of her own in the women's 45-49 division.
First, she posted a time of 9:20.08 in the 800 free to dash Lynn Marshall's 2006 record of 9:21.65.
She also lowered her own record in the 100 IM with a time of 1:06.80, dropping her previous 2007 record of 1:07.49.
Pipes-Neilsen smashed another of her records in the 100 back with a time of 1:05.55. That was plenty good enough to lower her 1:06.44 from 2007.
Event organizers also state that 16 USMS records fell, as well as 130 meet records.
