USA Diving Olympic Trials: David Boudia Wins Men’s Tower at Trials

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, June 22. DAVID Boudia snatched the first men's platform Olympic roster spot at the USA Diving Olympic Trials held at the IU Natatorium at IUPUI.

Boudia tallied 1,642.20 points, while Thomas Finchum placed second with 1,583.50 points.

Boudia and Finchum will lead Drew Livingston (1,443.15), Nick McCrory (1,345.55), J.J. Kinzbach (1,285.60) and Matthew Cooper (1,285.60) as the top six divers in the event that will compete at the team selection camp in Knoxville, Tenn., to decide the second diver. Boudia must show up and participate to prove his physical readiness to compete in Beijing.
