Swedish Grand Prix Final, Stockholm: Johan Johansson, Simon Sjodin Double, Stefan Nystrand Sizzles

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 4. DURING the last finals session of the Swedish Grand Prix held in Stockholm, Johan Johansson and Simon Sjodin both doubled. Meanwhile, Stefan Nystrand put on a show in the men's 50 free.

Johansson first surfaced with the men's 100 breast title in 1:04.57, before capturing the men's 200 IM in 2:08.48. Sjodin also won a pair with triumphs in the men's 100 fly in 54.49, while also taking the men's 200 back in 2:05.88.

Meanwhile, Nystrand just missed dipping under 22 seconds again in the men's 50 free with a winning time of 22.09. He already has the national record with a swift 21.93 from last August.

Nathalie Lindborg (56.59) claimed a close battle with Sarah Sjostrom (56.71) and Claire Hedenskog (56.78) in the women's 100 free, while Mattias Carlsson touched out Linus Junefelt, 1:54.46 to 1:54.54, in the men's 200 free. Sjostrom would later win the women's 100 back in 1:03.79, while Jens Petersson also won a backstroke event with a 27.52 in the men's 50.

Hanna Westrin then touched first in the women's 50 breast with a winning time of 32.27, while Ida Sandin clocked a convincing win in the women's 400 IM in 4:56.17.

In a three-person field, Sofie Gardell earned the women's 200 fly title in 2:20.91, while Rebecka Palm touched out Rebecka Ekelund, 4:28.06 to 4:28.55, in the women's 400 free.

Joline Hostman then snatched the women's 200 breast title in 2:29.11, while Mike Thoren grabbed the men's 1500 free crown in 16:42.90.

Anna-Karin Kammerling wrapped up the women's 50 fly in 26.32 for the win, while
