The Morning Swim Show: Wayne Burrow Gives Tour Behind the Scenes at Men’s NCAA Championships

PHOENIX, Arizona, April 8. LONG before the first fan walks into any swimming pool to watch the best swimmers and divers compete at an NCAA Championships, hours of preparation have taken place to make each session look seamless.

Wayne Burrow, the director of championships for the NCAA, takes host Brent Rutemiller through the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center, the site of this year's men's NCAA meet. From "mission control" in an enclosed room behind the main table to the hospitality room for staff and the Ready Room for athletes, Burrow talks about every detail that's needed to make sure each event runs on time and runs without incident.
