Two More South American Records Fall at SA Championships

SAO PAOLO, Brazil, March 13. ON top of Gabriella Silva's continental standard in the women's 100 fly with a 59.79 during prelims, two more South American records fell during the first day of the South American Championships held in Sao Paolo.

In the women's 50 breast, Peru's Valeria Marea broke the record with a time of 32.53 to win the event.

Meanwhile, Henrique Barbosa of Brazil clocked a time of 1:01.44 in the men's 100 breast to post a new South American record.
