USA Swimming Sectionals, Orlando: The Bolles School Claim Pair of Men’s Relay Title

ORLANDO, Florida, March 13. THE first night of swimming came to a close at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Orlando.

Jenna Gallo opened the meet with a win in the women's 1500 free when the swimmer from Saint Andrew's hit the wall in 16:50.91. Golda Marcus of Brandon Sports finished second in 16:57.30.

Tyler Sell, 15, of City of Pembroke had a much closer victory in the men's 800 free as he knocked off Evan Marcus of Brandon Sports, 8:18.07 to 8:19.22.

Sarasota YMCA's team of Katheryne Muth, Ashlee Linn, Sara Conner and Corinne Showalter won the women's 200 free relay in 1:49.08, while The Bolles School quartet of Ken Uy, Christopher Hagedorn, Matt Schlytter and Daniel Coakley won the men's 200 free relay in 1:34.72.

Swim Florida's foursome of Amy Salce, Alicia Gaidry, Wesley Blassneck and Erin Black won the women's 200 medley relay in 2:02.53, while The Bolles School earned its second men's relay title with a 200 medley time of 1:46.99 from Pablo Marmolejo, Joe Qupty, Hagedorn and Coakley.
