USA Swimming Sectionals, Mission Viejo: Karlee Bispo Wins a Pair

MISSION VIEJO, California, March 8. KARLEE Bispo hit the wall first in a pair of events at the USA Swimming Sectionals hosted by the Mission Viejo Nadadores on Saturday night.

Bispo, of Pirate Aquatics, captured her first title of the night in the women's 200 IM with a time of 2:17.94, while Andrew Godbe touched first in the men's 200 IM in 2:07.78.

Bispo showed some range as she surfaced victorious with a time of 26.49 to win the women's 50 free, while swimming veteran Jason Lezak of Rose Bowl Aquatics grabbed the men's splash-and-dash victory with a time of 22.90.

While full results of the women's 400 free have not been made available by meet management, Mission Viejo's Chloe Sutton won the event with a time in the 4:14s. Her teammate Chad La Tourette held off fellow Nadador Fran Crippen, 3:59.14 to 4:00.64, in the men's 400 free.

In relay action, Pleasanton's Kayleigh Foley, Lisa Narum, Karen Wang and Catherine Breed won the women's 400 free in 3:54.55, while the Redlands men's team of Joey Hale, Tyler Harp, Mike Perry and Karl Krug won in 3:32.43.
