Women's Individual Results
Bridgeport mustered up two wins in the relay events. The Bridgeport 200 medley relay compilation of Laura Alvarez, Arielle Stafford, Claire Garner and Whitney Rhoades placed first in the meet's first event, clocking a 1:56.15, while the 400 freestyle relay team of Michele Csonka, Natalie Howard, Alvarez and Rhoades demolished 400 freestyle relay competition with a 3:49.49 time.

Men's Individual Results
Parkersburg held the majority of relay event victories on the men's side with two. The Parkersburg 200 freestyle relay contingent of Michael Pitrolo, David Byler, Brooks Martin and Tim Phillips was the only relay to crack the 1:30 barrier in the event, recording a 1:29.69 time. Their performance in the event bettered the former West Virginia state standard in the event (1:31.11), which Fairmont set in 2001. Another state record fell when the Parkersburg 400 freestyle relay (Pitrolo, Martin, Byler and Phillips) cruised to a 3:19.34 finish. The 3:19.34 time bettered the former record of 3:22.73, which George Washington set in 2004.
Travis Green from South Charleston scored 32 points for the Black Eagles, destroying the field in each of the longer-distance freestyle events. He snagged wins in the 200 freestyle (1:43.35) and the 500 freestyle (4:37.72).
Phillips continued his unmatched reign on West Virginia swimming, unloading state-record times in each of his two events. Phillips switched up his event selection from 2007, taking first in the 200 IM (1:51.19) and the 100 butterfly (48.79). His 200 IM time eclipsed Bridgeport's Michael Walker's 2005 record of 1:55.05 while his 100 butterfly swim erased Todd McGraw of Woodrow Wilson's 2006 standard of 50.93. Phillips also holds state records in the 200 freestyle (1:41.87) and the 100 freestyle (46.29).
