Paul Yetter, Sean Hutchison – Young Coaches That Learned From Great Mentors

PHOENIX, Arizona, March 3. PAUL Yetter of the North Baltimore Aquatic Club and Sean Hutchison of King County Aquatics are young coaches who are already making their mark in the swimming world, thanks to mentors who taught them the essentials of becoming a good coach.

In an interview with SwimmingWorld.TV on page 33 of the March issue of Swimming World, Yetter and Hutchison talk about the coaches who gave them the opportunity to learn more about the sport and what it takes to become a good coach.

Yetter talks about the influence Bob Bowman had on him in 2002, when Yetter shadowed Bowman for a year.

"I've worked with a lot of these guys that are coaching the people that are winning medals, and that experience is awesome," said Yetter, who coaches world-record holder Katie Hoff.

Hutchison equates his time working with Paul Bergen to being a graduate student.

"I saw it as an investment in my future," said Hutchison, who coaches such stars as Megan Jendrick and Ariana Kukors.
