Mountain West Championships: UNLV Men, BYU Women Lead After Day Two

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, February 28. THE UNLV men's and BYU women's swimming and diving teams lead the rankings with 306 and 342 points, respectively, through day two of the 2008 MWC Swimming and Diving Championships. The Wyoming men and women are second in their respective competitions with 270 and 247.50 points, respectively.

The UNLV women's 200 freestyle relay team broke the all-time Conference record with their time of 1:31.83. The time was also an NCAA-B cut time.

BYU is third in the men's rankings with 226 points, followed by TCU (216), Air Force (191) and Utah (134). On the women's side, UNLV holds the third spot with 214 points, followed by Utah (210), Colorado State (155), New Mexico (112.50), TCU (108), San Diego State (81) and Air Force (67).
