Good Luck Beijing FINA Diving World Cup: China Continues to Roll on Day Four

BEIJING, China, February 22. DURING the fourth day of diving competition at the Good Luck Beijing FINA Diving World Cup event held at the National Aquatics Center (Water Cube), the hometown favorites continued to dominate the competition.

This time, the duo of Lin Yue and Huo Liang captured the men's platform synchro gold with a total tally of 482.46. Incredibly, the tandem had the best dive of each round other than the fifth, when they had their first and only hiccup of the session. The judges obviously loved the Chinese performance, as the duo collected 12 total 10s during finals.

Germany's team of Patrick Hausding and Sascha Klein grabbed silver with a total of 466.74 points, while Britain's squad of Blake Aldridge and Thomas Daley grabbed bronze with 446.07 points.

Representing the U.S., Thomas Finchum and David Boudia placed sixth with 430.62 points.

In three-meter prelims for the women, China topped qualifying as Wu Min Xia posted 366 points and Guo Jing Jing finished second with 328.60 points. Christina Loukas, representing the U.S., placed third with 327.45 points.
