FINA/ARENA World Cup King is Featured on Cover of February Swimming World -- February 1, 2008

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 1. SAYING backstroker Randall Bal, former All-American from Stanford, had a good World Cup would be a true understatement. Consider that Bal, now nicknamed "Blackjack," won 21 out of his 21 races during the World Cup series!

During 30 days, in seven different international venues, Bal was relentless in his pursuit of perfection. At the conclusion of the competition, Bal was awarded a check for $100,000 as the event's top male performer.

Bal is currently training in Italy for the upcoming U.S. Olympic Trials.
