French Cup, Chamalieres: Hannah Miley Grabs Double To End Meet

CHAMALIERES, France, January 20. HANNAH Miley completed a strong meet at the French Cup held in Chamalieres with a final day double.

Miley opened the final day of competition with a victory in the women's 200 IM. She clocked a time of 2:17.37 with Joanne Andraca taking second in 2:19.14. Nicolas Rostoucher followed in the men's 400 IM with a triumph in 4:27.25. He knocked off second-place Anthony Pannier (4:30.79).

In the women's 100 free, Malia Metella emerged with a 56.08 to 56.44 victory over Coralie Balmy, while Matthieu Madelaine touched out Yoris Grandjean, 1:51.65 to 1:51.89, in the men's 200 free.

Breaststroke took center stage in the next two events. Sari El Bekri picked up the women's 200 breast title in 2:36.26, while James Gibson garnered another conquest, this time with a 1:02.56 in the men's 100 breast.

Marie Jugnet pocketed a 1:06.18 to 1:06.96 win over Charlie Marqueton in the women's 100 back, while Simon Dufour dominated the men's 200 back in 2:03.76. Meanwhile, Joanne Andraca moved up from a second-place finish in the women's 200 IM to a victory in the women's 200 fly (2:16.88). Christophe Lebon then won the men's 100 fly in 54.20.

Miley completed a strong day with a double as she won the women's 400 free in 4:14.83.
