Trio of National Standards Broken In Final Night of Israeli Summer Nationals; Anna Gostomelski Grabs Spotlight

JERUSALEM, Israel, August 10. ON the fifth-and-final night of competition at the Israeli Summer National Championships, three more Israeli national records took a tumble.

Gal Nevo clocked a national and open record time of 2:03.13 to win the men's 200 IM, while Anna Gostomelski powered home in 25.48 in the women's 50 free to also set both a national and open standard. Finally, Gostomelski picked off another national and open record with a 100 back relay leadoff in 1:02.50.

Other individual winners included Nastia Korotkov in the women's 200 IM (2:21.15), Amit Ivri in the women's 100 fly (1:00.95), Guy Barnea in the men's 100 fly (54.49), Olga Bernsiev in the women's 800 free (9:06.74), Michael Dimitriev in the men's 1500 free (15:53.84) and George Bovell in the men's 50 free (22.53).
