US Diving Trails: Keim, Davison top seeds in women's 3-meter final -- June 21, 2000 US Olympic Diving Trials to be held June 20-25 in Seattle

From USA Diving
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. -- 1996 Olympian Jenny Keim (Miami, Fla.) will advance to the women's 3-meter springboard finals in the first seed based on her preliminary performance tonight at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Trials. Keim, who immediately tended to a partially torn right tricep following competition, will enter Wednesday's 3-meter final with less than a ten-point lead over second seed Michelle Davison (Columbia, S.C.). Keim injured her arm at the 2000 FINA/USA Diving Grand Prix in May in Fort Lauderdale, but coach Randy Ableman (Miami, Fla.) was confident it wouldn't affect her diving during the 3-meter final.
