More Top Names Set for Paris Open EDF

PARIS, France, July 20. THE Paris Open EDF has confirmed a few more top names that will be joining Aaron Peirsol and Amanda Beard in forgoing the USA Swimming Nationals the first week in August, as first reported here in May.

Randall Bal, Margaret Hoelzer and Jason Lezak have been promoted by the meet as appearing at the event in lieu of the U.S. Nationals taking place in Indianapolis, Ind.

The meet looks to be stacked as the following list has appeared on the meet's web site:

While the bulk of the American swimmers headed to the meet are under the PMG Sports Agency's flag, Octagon has confirmed that its stable of swimmers will be appearing at Nationals, with the exception of Lenny Krayzelburg.
