Panama Olympic Committee Suspended by IOC

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, July 1. THE International Olympic Committee (IOC) went through with the suspension of the Panama Olympic Committee (POC), caused by internal strife within the organization, according to reports by the Associated Press.

IOC member Mario Vazquez Rana of Mexico has been named the lead investigator into the situation as the IOC looks into the battle brewing for control of the POC.

As stated in a previous report, the suspension is based on the fight between Roger Moscote and Miguel Vanegas for the top spot of the POC.
