Swimming World Magazine Contributor Dave Denniston Speaks to Swimming World Radio about Dave Denniston Relays

PHOENIX, Arizona, June 19. DAVE Denniston, one of Swimming World Magazine's correspondents, sat down to talk to Swimming World Radio about his continuing rehab as well as the Dave Denniston Relays.

For those that haven't followed Dave's recent history, the 1999 NCAA Champion and 2003 World Championship Team member broke his back in February 2005 as a result a snow-sledding accident. The wreck broke his back and led to a long-standing battle to regain the full use of his legs. He's still in the fight.

Shortly after his accident, the concept of creating the Dave Denniston Relays came about to help fund his medical bills. The swimming community has welcomed the idea with open arms as the next edition will take place on July 7 at El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif.
