Highlights from the Mare Nostrum Meet

CANET, France, June 11. KOSUKE Kitajima won the 100 and 200 breaststrokes and France's Alain Bernard set a national record in the 100 freestyle to highlight the male action at the Canet stop on the Mare Nostrum Tour, which opened over the weekend.

For the women, Tara Kirk took top honors in the 50 and 100 breast events and Japan's Reiko Nakamura was a meet-record setter in the 100 backstroke, along with winning the 200 back. Here's the coverage of the meet:
