Hamilton spoke with SwimmingWorldMagazine.com about his future and some of the highlights of his career to this point.

Was there a watershed mark in your career that made it clear you had a gift for the sport and could achieve big thing?
At my second CARIFTA Games in Barbados in 2002, I had a really good meet and thought I could be pretty good.

What type of interaction do you have with your coach when it comes to training? What kind of input do you have?
My coaches at Baylor take the time to explain to me what we are doing and why we are doing it. My input is on what events I really want to focus on.

What are your goals for your senior season?
To be number one in the nation in my events and to qualify for the Jamaican Olympic team.

Who has made the biggest impact on your swimming career to this point?
Many different people have helped me through my career.

Have you verbally committed to any University? If so, which one and why? If not, who is in your top five and why?
No - I am wide open when it comes to college.

What has the recruiting process been like for you?
It is just getting started, and my coach and I have talked about a few things.

Have you scheduled any official or unofficial visits to any school? If so, where and what type of visits do you have planned?
None yet.
