Two New Staffers Join USA Swimming

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, April 25. USA Swimming recently announced the addition of a pair of new staffers in Martha Johnson and Nate Boyle.

Johnson joins the Foundation staff as annual fund manager. Johnson comes to USA Swimming from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, where she guided the organization's membership program and was responsible for the cultivation, solicitation and acknowledgment of their membership base. She also managed a membership sales team and oversaw the National Constitution Center's database.

Johnson has a lot of experience in the annual fund arena, and will be managing USA Swimming's annual fund on a day-to-day basis. She will also be heavily involved in the development of our new Foundation Web site and subsequent online/email campaign, as well as our marketing and communications initiatives.

Boyle joins USA Swimming's National Team Division as physiology coordinator. Boyle graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Political Science with a Sport Coaching minor and was a member of Auburn's 1999 NCAA Champion men's swimming team.

From August 2006 to present, he was the head coach of the professional team at Auburn Aquatics, where he developed and implemented an individualized seasonal plan for a 2004 Olympic gold medalist, among other athletes. He also served as assistant coach at Auburn Aquatics and head age group swim coach of the Ashburn Swim Team in Ashburn, Va.

An accomplished swimmer, Boyle was a member of the USA Swimming National Team that competed at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg, Canada; was a multiple NCAA Division I All-American at Auburn University; and was a 2000 and 2004 Olympic Trials qualifier.

Special thanks to USA Swimming for this release.
