China Sweeps Top Two Spots in Women’s Three-Meter Diving at Worlds

MELBOURNE, Australia, March 24. CHINA pocketed both gold and silver in the women's three-meter diving competition at the FINA World Championships in Melbourne, Australia.

Guo Jingjing topped the podium with 381.75 points, which included 81.00 points from her initial dive (backward 2.5 somersaults). Meanwhile, teammate Wu Minxia took silver with 368.80 points.

Italy's Tania Cagnotto garnered bronze with 341.70 points, while Nancilea Foster provided the U.S. its best finish in the event with a sixth-place 312.70.
