Weather and Travel Issues Postpone Big Ten Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio, February 13. THE Big Ten Conference office announced today that the 2007 Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships have been postponed because of severe weather in the Midwest and resulting travel difficulties. The event, originally scheduled to begin on Thursday, Feb. 15, will now start one day later on Friday, Feb. 16.

Ohio State University will serve as the host of the 2007 Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Championships from Friday, Feb. 16, through Sunday, Feb. 18 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The event will begin on Friday at noon local time with preliminary swimming heats. The championships conclude on Sunday at 7 p.m. with finals competition for swimming and diving before the crowning of the 2007 Big Ten champion.
