Hayden in Fine Form Heading into World Champs

BRITISH COLUMBIA, Canada, February 6. CANADA'S Brent Hayden appears to be in good shape heading into next month's World Championships in Melbourne. Over the weekend, while competing at the Team Aquatic Supplies British Columbia Senior Championships, Hayden won the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles in pool-record times.

Hayden clocked 49.51 in the 100 freestyle during Saturday action and followed Sunday by winning the 50 free (22.78) and 200 free (1:49.28). Hayden's time in the 100 free is the fastest in the world in 2007 and the veteran took home $1,125 in prize money from his weekend exploits.
