Ohio State's Last Time Out:
Ohio State women's swimming and diving team fell, 132-168, to Big Ten rival Northwestern Saturday at the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The Ohio State divers continued their dual-meet dominance, sweeping both the 1- and 3-meter boards. Chelsea Davis took home a pair of diving titles for the third consecutive meet. Other individual event winners included Griet Buelens in the 200 fly and Colleen Schweitzer in the 200 breast.

Looking forward with Ohio State's women's head coach Jeanne Fleck:
We really excited to go to Penn State. We have never been there. They are the top of the Big Ten. We love to compete against teams that push us to be better and get us ready for Big Tens. It will be great for our top-end kids to race a top-end team. We are hoping to make it a close meet, and of course we want to win it. We are going give it everything we have. It should be a good match-up. We are looking forward to it.

Penn State's Last Time Out:
Penn State will look to shake off the rust as its last dual meet took place against West Chester in a SwimmingWorldMagazine.com Meet of the Week. The Nittany Lions won 10 out of the 13 events contested and also had the top times in two other events but swam all of its swimmers as exhibitions in both of those two events. Kelly Nelson's swim in the 500 freestyle highlighted the day. Swimming in the event for the first time this year, Nelson won it with a career-best time of 4:52.86, which was good enough for an NCAA B cut. The only NCAA cut (A or B) made on the day for the Nittany Lions, it was Nelson's sixth NCAA cut of the year as she also already has an A cut in the 200 fly as well as B cuts in the 100 fly and 400 IM.

Looking forward with Penn State's head coach Bill Dorenkott:
We are looking forward to the meet with Ohio State this weekend. Ohio State Swimming and Diving is one of the most dominant programs in conference history with five league titles on the women's side. Hopefully, some day we will be in such a position. Jeanne [Fleck] does a terrific job with their athletes and Vince [Panzano] has established himself as one of the best diving coaches in NCAA history. We are coming off of a long layoff from competition and need to be prepared from the first event until the last.
