TEXAS LEADS 400m MEDLEY RELAY QUALIFIERS

The University of Texas led all qualifiers in prelims of the 400m medley relay at the Men's NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, being held at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
The team of Matt Ulrickson, Russ Chozick, Tom Hannan and Bryan Jones clocked 3:33.15, just ahead of the University of Tennessee at 3:33.47. Virginia–on the strength of Ed Moses's monstrous 57.30 breaststroke leg–was third at 3:33.71.
Rounding out the top eight were Auburn, USC, Stanford, Minnesota and Arizona.
B qualifiers were Cal, Nebraska, Florida, Hawaii, ASU, Penn State, Georgia and Texas A&M.
