Foulks Signs With Indiana Diving

BLOOMINGTON, Indiana, November 27. HIGH school senior Nick Foulks has signed a National Letter of Intent to dive for Indiana University in 2007-08, head diving coach Dr. Jeff Huber announced Nov. 27.

"Nick Foulks already comes in doing a very, very difficult one-meter list," Huber said. "He kind of reminds me a little of (former Hoosier All-American and two-time one-meter NCAA titlist) Mark Lenzi, coming in already with front three-and-a-half, back two-and-a-half, inward two-and-a-half and reverse two-and-a-half, so we're really excited."

Foulks was an All-American in 2004, 2005 and 2006 for Neenah High School in Neenah, Wis. He also earned all-conference and all-state honors during each of those years, and has been named his conference's diver of the year three times. He was also named the Appleton Post Crescent Swimmer/Diver of the Year. Foulks has earned three varsity letters for Neenah, and served as a team captain for one year.

Foulks said he chose Indiana because of the "combination of great diving and an outstanding academic program."

A member of Fox Valley Diving, Foulks has competed at the U.S. Open Diving Championships and at Senior Zone Diving Championships.

Foulks is a member of the National Honor Society and is an Academic Letterman. He is also a member of the French Club, Student Council, Launch, the jazz band and the marching band.

He is the son of Tim and Lucy Foulks.
