Limin Liu of Nevada was the outside smoke winning from lane 2 in 57.97. Misty Hyman used her underwater skills to finish second while Yeo finished 3rd fresh off her leg of the 200 Medley Relay. Voitovitsch and Younglove from UCLA came in 4th and 5th. Cope from Cal was 6th, Panighetti of Wisconsin 7th and Baham from AZ State rounded out the top 8.
