Cal Wins 200 Medley in World Record -- March 17, 2000

Once again Arizona qualified first, but Cal come up the winner with a new World Record time of 1:49.23. Arizona followed in 1:49.71, Georgia in 3rd at 1:50.14, only .01 ahead of Stanford in 4th at 1:50.15. I was an extremely close race with all four freestylers going in the pool with the chance to win but Cal’s Yeo came out the victor.
