Teuscher qualifies first in 400 IM -- March 17, 2000

Columbia’s Cristina Teuscher seems to be set to win her second event of this championships as she cruised to the top qualifying spot in 4:36.82 well ahead of second qualifer Corrie Murphy of USC (4:40.23). Rounding out the top 8 are Keegan Walkley of Georgia, Maggie Bowen of Auburn, Elli Overton from Cal, Katie Hathaway from N. Carolina, and Mirjana Bosevska from Virgina. Note that no one from AZ made the final, although they have Erin Vogt in consols, and Stanford failed to qualify ANYONE in the event. Georgia has one in finals and two in consols.
