Louisville Women Defeat Kenyon, 121-104

GAMBIER, Ohio, November 11. THE University of Louisville women's swim team beat Kenyon 121-104 in Gambier, Ohio Saturday evening.

The Cardinals started the meet with a win in the 400-medley relay. Amanda Henleben kept the momentum moving with a win in the 1000-free. Leslie VanWinkle had a strong swim for a win in the 200-free. Teammate Jenny Schimenti was in hot pursuit for second. Melanie Greyling edged out all comers in a hotly contested 50 free. Anna Dishuck finished third in the same race and was still 15 hundreths of a second from a first.

Heather Meng won the 200-IM and Karen Criss was right in her wake for second. The Cardinals swept the 200-fly with Abby Miller touching first, Jenny Schimenti and Amanda Henleben made it a sweep. VanWinkle had another win in a 100-free and Liz Halet took second to add to the point total.

The foursome of Liz Halet, Emily Rabe, Melanie Greyling and Leslie VanWinkle took the final 200-free relay to seal the win.
