China Wins 6 Golds At World Cup V -- January 8, 2000

Hong Kong, China - China's new contingent of swimmers won six gold medals at the FINA World Cup V on Saturday. Xie Xufeng led the charge when he grabbed two golds in the men's 100m and 400m individual medleys while Yang Yu also collected a double in the women's 200m and 50m freestyle.

Xie won the 100m medley event in 55.55 seconds. Earlier in the day he took gold in the longer event with a time of 4:16.66.

Yang clocked 25.86 in the 50 and 1:57.96 for the 200.
