Men’s NCAA Div I. Championships, Finals: Arizona Smashes the NCAA record in the 200 Medley Relay

ATLANTA, March 24. HERE we go….

Arizona Trailed Northwestern by only .01 after the backstroke. After that it was all Zona, as Albert Subirats (back, 21.47), Dave Rollins (breast, 23.33), Lyndon Ferns (fly, 20.22) and Simon Burnett (free, 18.86), set an NCAA mark of 1:23.88, breaking the old mark of 1:24.46 by Texas in 2003.

Auburn improved on its sixth-place prelim spot by finishing second in 1:25.08. Stanford was disqualified.

Indiana won the consols in 1:26.78
