Texas Women's Swimming Signs Elizabeth Posvar -- November 20, 1999

AUSTIN, TX - University of Texas women's swim head coach Jill Sterkel announced the signing of Elizabeth Posvar (Farmington Hills, Mich. / Mercy HS) to a National Letter of Intent for the upcoming 2000-2001 academic year.

Posvar is a two-time high school All-American, earning accodales in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay at Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, Mich. In addition, she has earned All-State status in both the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley. She boasts top times of 52.26 in the 100-yard freestyle and 2:07.42 in the 200-yard individual medley. Of note, Posvar also competes for the Poseidon Swim Club and head coach Dave Nack.
