Ian Thorpe, Australia's 17-year-old swimming sensation, is training in a fiberglass cast after chipping a bone in his ankle. Thorpe injured his left ankle in a fall while jogging last week.

Thorpe, known as "the Thorpedo" in Australia, set world records in the 200m and 400m freestyle last August at the Pan Pacific Championships in Sydney.
