NCAA Men's Water Polo: No. 2 USC Beats No. 6 Pepperdine, 11-7 -- September 28, 1999

MALIBU, CA - Allen Basso and Adam Guerrero scored three goals each to lead No. 2 USC to an 11-7 victory at No. 6 Pepperdine in a non-conference game. USC improved to 7-1 overall. The Trojans next host UC Irvine on Saturday (Oct. 2) at 1 p.m.

Other USC scorers included James Castle with two goals and Peter Janov, Jeff Larson and Stever O'Rourke with one each. Goalie Richard McEvoy tied his season high with 13 saves.

The Trojans outscored the Waves 5-0 in the second quarter to take a 7-2 lead, and were up 9-2 late in the third quarter.
