Women's NCAA Weekend Preview -- November 3, 2005

PHOENIX, Ariz. November 3. THIS weekend the top Division I women's teams will face other top ranked teams beginning tomorrow. Georgia travels to Michigan to take on the No. 15 ranked women's team. Georgia recently upset No. 1 ranked Florida, 176-116.

Stanford is traveling to Irvine, Calif. to compete in the Big West Shootout. It is fresh off of a victory over the No. 7 ranked Texas women. Speaking of Texas, it is traveling to Dallas to battle the Lady Mustangs at SMU.

Texas A&M returns to battle this week after a dissapointing loss to the No. 25 women's team from Washington in a 115-147 upset. It takes on Houston at home.

The Wisconsin women are taking off for Bloomington, Ind. for a quad meet with Indiana, Louisville, and Southern Illinois. The Badgers just returned from Tucson, Arizona where the Lady Wildcats defeated them in dual meet action. However, Wisconsin did defeat Penn State in that tri-meet.
