High Schoolers: How Far Can You Go?

UNITED STATES, October 15. THE American Hebrew Academy of Greensboro, N.C. will be hosting a National One Hour High School Postal Swimming Championships. The idea of the event is to see who can swim the farthest in one hour, and that means anyone, as long as they are a registered member of their high school team.

The one hour swim can be completed in any swimming pool 25 yards or longer. Women will represent one category and men will represent the other. The one hour swim may be completed in a 25-yard or more pool.

The deadline for submitting results is January 15, 2006. Rankings will be categorized nationally, by state, and by a participants' high school athletic conference. Once all the entries have been received, press releases will be sent to the winning participants' local newspapers to recognize their performances.

The cost to participate in this event is $10. For more information about the 2005-06 National One Hour High School Postal Swimming Championships contact Coach Rick Bober, American Hebrew Academy, rbober@aha-net.org, 336-217-7066.
