Clovis Sectional Psych Sheet Released

CLOVIS, California, July 22. CLOVIS Swim Club will play host to the California/Nevada stop of the Speedo Champions Series, beginning tomorrow and concluding next Monday.

Psych Sheet: Clovis Sectionals

It’s a rather small meet this year, with less than 30 competitors in several events. Orinda Aquatics’ Steven Stumph should contend for multiple individual titles, as he’s seeded first in the men’s 200 breast (2:16.12) and 200 IM (2:06.47) and second in the 100 breast (1:04.77). Stumph broke the national high school record in the 100 breast last year and recently completed his freshman year at the University of Southern California.

A couple of standout college swimmers will compete in the women’s meet as well, including San Diego State’s Chelsea Bailey and Anika Apostalon, who will both swim the 50 and 100 free and 100 back.

Make sure to follow Swimming World for recaps and results from the meet.
