MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota, March 22. WHILE most swimmers would be ecstatic with the type of meet Arizona’s Margo Geer had at the NCAA Division I Women’s Championships, the second American under 47 seconds obviously was soaking in a tough year.

This year included a mid-season head coaching change that also had a lengthy leave of absence by former head coach Eric Hansen before Rick DeMont finally assumed the head coaching title.

Geer seemed more relieved in her interview even though she had some of the best swims of her life.
